Birtley can build or rebuild your breaker/crushing shaft, headshaft, tailshaft or belt roller from any manufacturer. We can remanufacture your shaft with new shaft material, breaker rings, pick holders, picks, bearings, bearing housings and mounting plates. It doesn’t matter if your shaft is splined or keyed. We can do it all. 

We can also provide part replacements for many of the shafts and belt rollers available, especially the parts mentioned directly above.

We can manufacture and repair custom crushing and sizing shafts. We can machine and weld shafts, rings, picks and holders. We can use wear-resistant materials of your specifications. We specialize in carbide tips.
